About the Founder
Hello, I’m Angela, a parent from Estonia. Throughout my career as a teacher, school principal, and national education advisor, I’ve looked for ways to better support children’s growth.
I developed this simple 5-minute method to give parents their peace of mind back, while helping kids rediscover the real world. It’s designed to work alongside the tools you already use, filling the gap between digital safety and real-world confidence.
I use my background in pedagogy to help parents guide their children toward confidence and situational awareness in a safe, structured way.
While you stay connected through your tracking apps, your child practices:
Self-Regulation: Learning how to put the screen down on their own, without the usual drama or power struggle.
Situational Awareness: Actually noticing the real-world details around them instead of being locked into a device.
True Confidence: Feeling the "win" of handling small missions independently while you support them from the background.
What a Mission Actually Looks Like
How It Works
Designed to complement existing safety tools.
Think: 2–5 minutes away, with you within sight. A parent or guardian must be nearby at all times.
📄 1. Quick Sync. Read the 2-minute guide to see how simple it is to step back.
🕵️ 2. Start the Activity. Show your child the prompt on the screen—this is where the screen-time ends and the fun begins.
📍 3. Discovery Walk. Your child heads to a nearby landmark (2-5 mins away) while you watch from the background, supported by your tracking tools.
✅ 4. The Wrap-up. They return with a small "win," building independence you can see immediately.
Your child explores without a phone.
You observe and support from the background.
All activities are designed to be completed with a parent nearby and appropriate for the child’s maturity and environment.
Who this is for
Parents of kids ages 7–12.
Families who want to build real-world awareness.
Parents who want to stay nearby, but step back.
